This iconic product celebrates its 20th birthday this year. Since I use it daily, it’s the right time to mention it. :)

Touche Éclat is an illuminator which means that its primary task is not to cover, but to illuminate. So, it highlights the areas on the face, although many think this product is a concealer designed specifically for covering dark circles. It really does cover the imperfections, but in an effort to cover some major problems you can get the opposite. Can be used alone or over a foundation and/or a concealer. For bigger problems it is recommended to use specific, correcting products, and then illuminate the areas with a layer of Touche Éclat.

It is very lightweight, it perfectly blends into the skin and leaves no excessive traces. It brightens the skin, but also reduces shadows and smoothes irregularities. Can be used around the eyes, on upper lip, on cheekbones, etc.

I mostly use it around the eyes and I’m really satisfied with the fresh look it brings to my face. I especially like that there are no rough transitions between Touche Éclat and foundation. I have a celebration edition in shade #1 and standard edition in shade #2. Both shades serve me very well.

Its job is to make the skin radiant and it never fails. This is a HG product that I’ve been using for years, and I’ll continue to use it. :)
