Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 Eyes & Lashes is designed to eliminate fatigue, aging and stress in around the eye area. The other task of this anti-aging serum is to strengthen eyelashes. It is suitable for sensitive eyes.

It is primarily designed for women between 40 and 50 years when the wrinkles are deep, and when it comes to loss of skin firmness. However, it is never too early to begin fighting the signs of aging, so you can start to use it earlier. Vichy states that you can start from age of 30 or 35, when the papillary layer of the skin begins to weaken and when it is necessary to protect and re-activate it.

Vichy claims that Liftactiv’s innovative formula guarantees immediate effect of lifting and that the first results are visible after 10 minutes. Significant improvement of skin will show within a month. It’s been over a month since I use this serum, so it’s the right time for the review.

The serum is light and absorbs quickly. The improvement becomes visible very quickly in the way that the eye area becomes refreshed. Of course, it should be noted that this improvement is minimal, but still noticeable. The formula contains 10% concentration of rhamnose. This herbal sugar is a powerful anti-aging ingredient and operates in combination with fine micro-pearls which illuminate eyes. The key lies in proper application, which leads to a slight tightening of the skin. Fortunately, I still have no problem with loose skin, so there’s nothing to be lift. I gave the serum to a person in 40-ies that has that kind of skin. I wanted to discover whether serum really works after just 10 minutes. According to her, there is a slight tightening sensation of the skin immediately after applying the serum, which results with wider open eyes. The only question is whether this effect is short or long-lived.

The serum is great as a makeup base as it is slightly sticky; therefore mascara, eyeshadow and liner have a better staying power. The purpose of this serum is to strengthen lashes, too. For now, I have not noticed any changes in this area.

All in all, I am very satisfied with this serum. I was immediately satisfied with light texture and quick absorbing formula and then, of course, with slight refreshment of around the eye area. However, I recommend it to women with loose skin, while to the rest of us it can serve as prevention.
