Sigma Beauty Cleansing and Polishing Tool is designed for face cleaning before and after makeup application. The tool comes with three brush heads: soft, medium and firm.
How to use it
Add a small amount of some cleanser directly to the brush head. It is recommended to exfoliate skin with medium or firm brush once a week. If you have sensitive skin, use soft brush at all times. The soft brush head is also designed for daily polishing. The process should be kept under one minute. Then proceed with the application of moisturizer and makeup.
The tool can also be used for removing makeup. After removing excess makeup, cleanse the skin with a small amount of cleanser and the softest brush head. Keep your cleansing process under one minute. Follow with your favorite moisturizer. Of course, you can adjust this routine as needed.
My skin isn’t sensitive; it’s normal, but I found medium and firm brush heads a bit harsh for my skin, so I only use the softest brush. This tool has two speeds, but the problem is that the slow one is not slow enough. In my opinion, there should be another, slower speed, so then the medium and firm brushes wouldn’t be so harsh on the skin. The good thing is that you can use them for the body exfoliation.
This product gives a deeply cleansed face, so the results are great. It does what it supposes to do and I am really satisfied with it.
The cons are that the medium and firm brushes are too harsh for face cleaning.
Also, I like to girly look of this product, but it is kinda cheep. Its look is suitable for younger ladies.
I’ve found out that there has been some changes on the Sigma Beauty’s site about this tool. The box and the brushes designs have been changed and now they recommend using firm and medium brush heads for body exfoliation. When they sent me this tool, its only tasks were FACE cleaning and polishing. That was in September.
