Missha M Perfect Cover BB cream #23 (Natural Beige)
BB creams (Blemish Balm creams) are combination of preparative and decorative cosmetics. This means they cover and treat various skin imperfections. Missha claims that this cream lightens skin tone by healing visible wrinkles and blemishes with excellent skin-cover ability, and prevents skin aging through effective whitening and anti-wrinkle properties.
After several months of using Missha M Perfect Cover BB cream, I didn’t notice any changes on the skin, so I don’t use it as a skin care product, only as a makeup one. However, it prevents skin ageing with the huge SPF 42. Because of the factor, the sun has not touched my skin for months.
As its name suggests, Perfect Cover BB Cream offers excellent coverage – medium to high. Because of the great coverage, I use this product instead of a foundation. Only a small amount of product is needed to cover the skin, so 50 ml (1.69 fl. oz.) will last for me for a long time.
This cream is too oily, so I always apply a coat of translucent loose powder on it. Even though it’s oily, I found on the Missha USA website that this cream is suitable for all skin types, even the acne prone skin.
BB creams are popular in Asia, and most of them you can find only there (some of them can be bought in the U.S.). Missha M Perfect Cover gives a porcelain doll look; the type of skin that you can see on the polished Asian women. That’s probably the reason why I like this product so much – because of the uniformity of the skin, as well as its color.
It comes in 5 shades, and 3 of them are available on the Asian market, where I got mine. Mine is #23 (Natural Beige) which blends well with the color of my skin. It’s located in a tube with a pump which makes it easy to use. It has intense, but pleasant scent.
This cream is manufactured in Korea and Korean products have the date that they were made labeled on them, not the expiration date. So, if you buy this product, don’t be surprise with the ‘expired’ date.

Why to choose BB cream instead of a foundation?
The advantages of this BB cream over the many foundations are: a porcelain complexion, very high SPF, and it’s lightweight (it’s much lighter than most foundations).
It would be great that it really lightens the skin and removes wrinkles, but that’s not the case.
All in all, I am really pleased with my Missha, what you have already noticed, because it is constantly listed in my fave products posts.
