Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge (#151, #154 & #132)

Description of the shades:

#151 Rouge Mythique – Bright red with gold particles. This lipstick is the only one with tangible particles. You can see them in the 4th photo, as tiny dots.

#154 Rouge Crépuscule – Dark red with gold metallic finish.

#132 Caprice Golden Hat Foundation edition – Bright red with a tinge of pink, and therefore gravitates to the cold side. Although it contains shiny micro-particles, they are not visible on the lips.

 

L’Absolu lipsticks are very creamy, highly pigmented and have intense, flowery fragrance. All three colors are very deep, rich and noticeable. They are very moisturizing and feel pleasant on the lips. The staying power is good. They can stay in unaltered condition for about 4 hours with no special fixing, and can survive a coffee as well.

Pro-Xylan®, an ingredient used in skin care products, ensures exceptional hydration. Besides providing nurture, these lipsticks protect lips from aging caused by the sun’s radiation, with SPF12.

L’Absolu lipsticks cost £21.00/$30.00, for which you get 3.99 g/0.14 oz. of product. I bought #151 on 50% sale, #154 was a gift from Lancôme Croatia and I grabbed #132 at ItGirl shop. The last one can’t be bought anymore, because it was a part of the last year’s holiday collection. But the shade is still available in the standard packaging edition.

All three shades are beautiful, but #132 Caprice is my favorite – adds glow to the whole face and perfectly adheres to the lips; literally merges with them. This lippie was one of my fav 2012 products.
