Lancôme Cils Tint – semi-permanent lash tint

Lancôme claims:

During weekends and holidays many women do not use mascara, because they do not want to damage their lashes or they just want to rest them from the daily applications. For them, Lancôme designed Cils Lash Tint Bare Sensation, semi-permanent mascara that stays on lashes up to 72 hours.

It highlights the eyes with an intense black gloss effect for the eyelashes. It is enriched with Pro-Vitamin B5, Rose Hip Oil and Ceramide. So, it nourishes them and it’s ultra-resistant.

 

 

My opinion:

As you can see, this is not a classic mascara, but semi-permanent color for eyelashes. Its texture is very liquid and it is important not to overload the lashes. Then you have to wait a few minutes that it dries. Because of the texture and plain brush, this product does not give volume to the lashes nor visually lengthens them; it only colors them. Since the additional effects are absent, there is no need to post a photo of my colored lashes.

I tested it several times per 72 hours. Eyelashes were pointed out with black color and, with the help of its brush, I managed to slightly curl them. On second day the color was stable, but the lashes were flattened. On the third day the color was visible, but not so intense.

The quality of formula is excellent, which is very important since you are supposed to go to bed with this mascara. Once applied, does not crumble, so there is no fear of sleeping with it. It does not leave any unwanted traces within the three-day of use. Of course, the formula is waterproof, so you can wash your face. If you wish to remove it before the expiration of 72 hours, use some product that removes waterproof makeup; Lancôme recommends Bi-Facil. On the other hand, if you want to keep the lash color and remove the rest of the eye makeup, Lancôme recommends Effacil.

 

Conclusion:

The product really does what Lancôme claims; lashes are beautifully colored, with natural-looking definition. That means that this mascara is not a must-have product for everyone. I would recommend it to those who:

• like to wear a natural makeup look,
• wish to highlight the eyes, but can safely wear the mascara on the beach and swim with it. As such, this product is a right choice for summer days.
