To avoid the consequences of excessive exposure to the sun, it is necessary to properly protect the skin. La Roche-Posay designed a new product in Anthelios line: first La Roche-Posay gel-cream with a “dry touch” formula that provides instant absorption. Contains SPF 50+ which provides great protection thanks to patented filtering system Mexoplex® combined with soothing and antioxidant La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water. The product is water-resistant, non-comedogenic, fragrance-free and paraben-free.
La Roche-Posay claims that “dry touch” formula provides instant absorption with no shine and no white marks. It really absorbs instantly, which is a great thing, especially when it comes to creams with such a huge SPF. However, I noticed white marks. My face become a bit lighter when I apply it. The bigger amount, the brighter it gets, but it still absorbs immediately. When it comes to sun protection, you should always apply a product generously, so ultra-dry finish is the right solution for everyday use.
The cream contains SPF 50+, which means that it provides a very high protection against UVB rays. UVA protection level is stricter than European recommendations (PPD 31). So, this cream provides excellent protection, it is ideal for sensitive skin and “dry touch” formula makes it suitable for everyday wear. I use it gladly and recommend it.
If you notice white marks (as I do) and if it bothers you (I don’t mind), then try Anthelios XL Tinted Extreme Fluid 50+. It provides very high protection against UVA and UVB rays with a light makeup effect.
