Today I bring you swatches of some affordable holiday nail polishes. Some are really festive, but some can be worn on a daily basis. It’s up to you. Short reviews will follow the photos. I didn’t test the durability of the polishes.
Catrice Luxury Lacquers Million Brilliance 01 It’s Showtime*
Maybelline New York Colorama BE brilliant! 418*
These are real holiday polishes that can be worn alone or in combination with another nail polish. I applied 3 layers, so you can see clearly all the beauty of their sequins.
Oriflame The One Platinum Pearl*
Platinum Pearl is a cool, winter-holiday shade. Its superb wide brush and a good texture provide easy application of polish. I applied it in 2 layers.
Golden Rose Holiday 58
Wet n Wild Wild Shine E467 Night Prowl
These two polishes I’ve bought last year and completely forgot about them. So, I’ve tried the first one for the first time recently and fell in love with it. D It’s really wonderful – in a bottle and on the nails. I like its sandy texture and beautiful color. Purple base is filled with gold and pink shiny particles, and when it dries the finish gets matte. That shiny-matte combination makes it very interesting. I applied it in two layers, as the brand recommends, although with one layer looks very good.
I’ve tried Wild Shine Night Prowl just once, a year ago. At first, I was not impressed. Its texture is watery, and I did not like the brush, as well. However, I’ve gave it a second chance recently, and liked the final result. In addition to the result, the positive sides of this polish are price and quantity. In relation to other listed, this one is the cheapest, and it contains the highest amount of polish. This is a black base nail polish filled with lots of purple, shiny particles. Two layers are required.
Have you tried any of these nail polishes? Do you have any suggestions for the upcoming holidays?
