I renewed my lipstick collection with a few lippies from BIPA. I was mostly attracted to the iQ COSMETICS line that is known as the best quality BIPA’s line. I chose the perfect colors for spring – Star and Ruby.
Star belongs to the line of matt lipsticks, so it is housed in a black packaging of rubberized plastic. Its shade is intensive pink. The pigmentation is fantastic! Pigmentation, combined with the vibrant shade, makes it very eye-catching. The durability is good; it can stand on the lips for a few hours. As can be seen in pictures, it contains tiny shiny particles, but has a matte finish when applied to the lips.
Ruby belongs to the pearl lipstick collection and therefore is placed in a shiny, metalized packaging. Ruby is a shimmery red-orange shade. The shade is beautiful, perfect for daytime. The shimmer makes the finish very shiny. It has good pigmentation and durability.
I like the texture of the lipsticks – they glide on nicely and do not dry out the lips. Star has a bit drier texture, but not too dry. Ruby is lighter and easier to wear, because shimmery lip shades always fit great, no matter the lips condition.
I am very pleased with both lipsticks. Star stands out with its intensity and Ruby with its shine. The price is very affordable – approx. £3.96 ($5.97) for 3.5 g (0.12 oz). The colors are beautiful and these lipsticks pay out for the price.
